Pioneering the Future of Maritime Energy through Research and Collaboration

FORE-PAIR is a joint research and development project between the Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing (BAM), the Fraunhofer Society for the Promotion of Applied Research, and Rosenxt. Together, the partners are pooling their expertise in the fields of robotics, materials science, data analysis, and offshore technologies to develop the next generation of maritime energy solutions.

The project is part of the Maritime Research Program of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy and is thus embedded in one of Germany's central innovation strategies. This program forms the overarching framework of the Maritime Research Strategy 2025, which aims to secure the competitiveness of the maritime industry, promote sustainable technologies, and advance digitalization at sea.
